Recently, we reported that Dimple Kapadia was taking calls on the promotional strategies of her next film, What The Fish. Now, we have been informed that Dimple is also getting involved with the creative aspects of the film.

Interestingly, the veteran actor has asked the makers to compose a theme song for the film. The song was immediately worked upon, composed in two days, and recorded last week.

Dimple was insistent on the song from the time the film began. "In the film, Maasi (Dimple Kapadia) will be seen singing rhymes for her fish and plants. While shooting for the same, Dimpleji got the idea of composing a theme song around the fish," says Gurmmeet Singh, director, What The Fish.

Initially, when she mentioned it, the film team thought it was just a passing comment. But Dimple was stubborn and repeatedly requested the makers to compose the song because she felt it would help the film.

"When we were completing the dubbing two weeks ago, she inquired about the song. That is when we finally composed it in just two days,” adds Gurmmeet.

The song titled, ‘Machli jal ki rani hai’ has been composed by Sandeep Chatterjee and the lyrics have been written by Tejpal Singh Rawat. “They have worked hard to compose it in such a short span of time. The song opens with the poem, followed by a few other lines. It has turned out to be a great idea,” says the director.
