Karan Johar told Alia Bhatt that Ranbir Kapoor would make the ‘best husband in the world’?

The second season of Karan Johar’s hit radio show, Calling Karan, is making our favourite Bollywood stars open up like never before. Playing ‘Agony Aunt’ to perfection is everybody’s favourite Karan as he doles out advice, one after the other. It was just the other day that the filmmaker had shared tips with Ayushmann Khurrana on how to tackle women hitting on him and keen on extra marital affairs.

Now, Karan has gone a step further. He has given some valuable relationship lessons to actor Ranbir Kapoor. According to a report in Spotboye, Ranbir asked Karan how should he behave after making multiple mistakes in a relationship. He was quoted as asking: “Agar ek relationship me aap ek galti karte ho, aur phir dubara woh galti karte ho. So, what is the right way to sort out that mistake?”

If Karan’s advice to Ayushmann were tongue-in-cheek, his reply to Ranbir was pretty direct. Here’s what he was quoted as saying: “Then you should exit that relationship. Because there’s no way you can make two mistakes, one after the other, without realising that something is actually wrong, Ranbir. So, I am sure, you know what I am talking about?”

It may be recalled that Ranbir has been in long relationships with two leading ladies in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. He is currently dating Alia Bhatt and has gone on record accepting it. On the question of marriage, however, he has refuted any such assumptions that after Deepika-Ranveer and Priyanka-Nick, they would be the next high-profile Bollywood couple to tie the knot.

Getting back to Calling Karan and Ranbir and Karan interaction, in a section where rapid fire questions were being fielded, Ranbir had a reverse question for the host. He asked Karan if the latter had any advice for his girlfriend. To this, Karan reportedly replied: “That you are the best husband in the world aur mene woh advice de diya hai, Ranbir!”

Earlier, talking to Hindustan Times about his relationship with Alia, Ranbir had said, “I am in a happy, positive and beautiful phase of my life. But you can talk about your personal life only to a degree. Otherwise, it becomes the forerunner of your life and your work takes a back seat. There is always excitement to know about someone’s personal life. But you want to give the relationship respect so that people don’t malign it in a gossipy way. It is something beautiful, sacred and really important to you, so you want to deal with it in a nice manner.”
