Sunny Leone’s journey to Bollywood has been nothing short of a big-screen drama. It all started with reality show Big Boss and though she has now come a long way, she says she will always be thankful to television as a medium. “I do get offered a lot of stuff on TV. But whatever I take up, Daniel (her husband) and I have decided that it would have to be well-thought of. Big Boss is where it all started and if I get a great offer to be a part of a reality show, why not? If there is one thing I’ve learnt then that is to never say never,” says Sunny.

She just announced her decision to turn producer with a movie on superheroes, which will see her play the title role. “It’s an interesting project with great scope. We are working on making this character extraordinary. With a lot of actresses turning producers and managing their acting career as well, it’s empowering to be a woman in the industry. Everyone knows that production requires much more than just acting and women today are evolved and smarter. They are ready to push their limits and see what interests them. I’m glad to be in the industry at this time.”

Since her movie has superheroes, which is her favourite superhero film, we ask. “Obviously, Superman! Who doesn’t like him? While growing up I also watched a lot of He-Man. I also saw Krrish, Hrithik Roshan was amazing in it. Kangana also had a great character in the film. I really liked the way they had designed her look. It was really cool,” Sunny says.
