Shraddha Kapoor’s single; doesn’t have bandwidth to nurture a relationship: Sources

Contrary to reports about her relationship with actor and film-maker Farhan Akhtar, sources close to Shraddha Kapoor as well as her friends say that she is “single and completely focused on her job.”

Over the past few months, rumours have been doing the rounds about an alleged relationship between Shraddha Kapoor and actor-director Farhan Akhtar. But sources close to the actress maintain that she is “single and strictly in work mode”.

Shraddha Kapoor’s friends say that the rumours about her relationship with Farhan Akhtar “are absolutely untrue.”

“Contrary to reports, she is single and completely focused on her job,” says a source. For the past few days, there have been constant stories about the two. The source says the rumours have been coming up almost every second day, with the latest stating that they are planning a secret vacation. “But these rumours are absolutely untrue,” says the source.

Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in Haseena, alongside her brother, Siddhanth Kapoor.

People close to Shraddha maintain that the actor has “worked really hard to reach where she has today and she values that a lot”. They also feel such rumours take away from the effort she puts in. The source says, “Shraddha does not have the bandwidth to keep up or nurture a relationship. She has been putting in a lot of hard work for her roles.”

With her next release, Haseena, as well as Saina Nehwal’s biopic on her mind, the source says Shraddha has “no time to commit to a relationship”. “The actor prefers spending whatever little time she gets from her preparation and shooting schedules with her family and friends,” says the source.

A few days ago, Shraddha took off to Seychelles with her family to “spend quality time with them”. Shraddha couldn’t be reached for a comment.
