Actor Sonam Kapoor turned into an ‘old fashioned gal’ for a family function. The actor shared some pictures on her Instagram handle from the event.
Sharing one of the pictures, she wrote: “An Old fashioned gal.” Looking every bit a delicate beauty in a dull pink, green and cream dress by designer Anamika Khanna, the actor paired her outfit with heavy jewellery. The occasion was her cousin Priya Singh’s haldi ceremony.

Priya, Sonam’s maternal cousin, is all set to get married. Sonam’s dad Anil Kapoor, mom Sunita Kapoor and brother Harshvardhan Kapoor among others were also spotted attending her pre-wedding celebrations.

Earlier this month, Sonam celebrated her first wedding anniversary. She and her husband Anand Ahuja shared emotional messages about each other on social media. Sharing a romantic post about Sonam, whom he called his ‘guiding star’, Anand wrote: “Some of my favourite shoefies w my (scroll to see our first one ever) ... I love posting these not because I love shoes (and you KNOW I love shoes) but because the idea of looking down reminds me to stay present, grounded and most importantly grateful! I could tell you exactly where we were and what we were feeling at the time I took these....”
He added, “Today, to reflect on 1 year of marriage and 3 years being together - nothing could be more of a blessing than to have your life partner be your best friend and also be the person that is supportive but pushes you to be better... to be the person that is unconditionally loving but will tell you when you’re wrong ... and to be the person that will lead you into and through your fears - not allowing you to run away from them. Happy Anniversary to my Sonam Kapoor .. you’re my guiding star! ...everyday phenomenal!”
Sonam also posted a video and wrote, “My Darling @anandahuja no one makes me feel as loved and cherished as you do. The kind of confidence and fulfilment I get from our relationship is unprecedented. I drowned myself in stories and lived in my dreams my whole life, And you came into my life and pulled me into a reality which was actually as beautiful as the best fairytale ever. You are, my ever after. Sonam, who was last seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, is currently working on The Zoya Factor. The film also stars Malayalam sensation Dulquer Salmaan.
