Actor Surveen Chawla and her husband, businessman Akshay Thakker were spotted leaving the hospital after she gave birth to a baby girl on April 15. Pictures of the couple, with the baby cradled in Surveen’s arms, have been shared.
The couple can be seen posing for the photographers, with the baby wrapped up in a blanket. Akshay can be seen holding a cradle as they exit the hospital. The couple has named the baby Eva. Sharing a picture of the baby on Instagram, Surveen had written, “We now have her tiny feet to fill the tiny shoes! Blessed by her wonderful arrival in our little family! Welcoming our daughter Eva.”
Announcing the pregnancy in November, Surveen had shared an Instagram image of a framed photograph of the couple, with babies’ shoes placed next to it. She’d captioned the post, “Life happens when it chooses to happen, when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! And we are growing by two little teeny-weeny feet!! @akshaythakker.”
Surveen and Akshay had tied the knot in Italy in 2015, and had kept the wedding a secret for some years. Pictures from her baby shower had also been shared online. Surveen has worked in films such as Anurag Kashyap’s Ugly and Leena Yadav’s Parched. She has worked in television shows such as Sacred Games and 24.
