Sussanne Khan says relationship with ex-husband Hrithik Roshan sacred, calls him her ‘support system’
Sussanne Khan, speaking about her relationship with actor Hrithik Roshan, has said that though their marriage did not last, their relationship is sacred.
Actor Hrithik Roshan and his former wife Sussanne Khan got divorced in 2014 but are often seen together along with their two children, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Sussanne said that their marriage may have ended but her relationship with Hrithik is sacred and that he is her support system.
She was quoted as saying: “I have a support system in Hrithik. It’s not a marriage, but we are friends. That zone is so sacred to me, it doesn’t make me feel sad or lonely. My kids are go-getters. They organise things!” Hrithik and Sussanne are often seen at outings with their boys, be it lunches and dinners or movie outings. They also go on vacations as a family.
Hrithik and Sussanne were married for 14 years before they ended their relationship in 2014. The two continue to co-parent their children. Last year, there was speculation that they may reconcile but both had dismissed the rumours.
Hrithik will be seen next in Super 30, a biopic on Bihar’s mathematics wizard Anand Kumar, who coaches students from non-privileged social strata to crack the elite IIT examination. The film will release on July 26, which was earlier supposed to hit the screens on the Republic Day weekend this year.
Sussanne has had a successful stint as an interior designer. “My mum (Zarine) and sisters (Farah Khan Ali and Simone Arora) have been key players in my life and more importantly my careers,” Sussanne had told IANS. “Also, my boys give me all the inspiration I’ll ever need,” she added.
