When mom Nita Ambani danced to hit Bollywood songs with daughter Isha. Watch videos
Nita Ambani and her daughter, Isha, danced to popular Bollywood songs like Navrai Majhi and Nachde Ne Saare at a party, thrown by Mukesh Ambani, to celebrate Isha’s engagement.
Here’s a classic case of a mother outdoing her daughter, at least in the dance department. At the bash, thrown by Indian industry honcho Mukesh Ambani to celebrate the engagement of his daughter Isha to Aanand Piramal, the girl’s mother Nita Ambani stole the show with her dance moves.
The event, which saw the who’s who from India Inc, Bollywood and cricket in attendance, was marked by two performances. Nita put up a dance performance, one, a solo act, while another one was with Isha.
In her solo act, Nita danced to late Sridevi’s hit number Navrai Majhi from her comeback film, English Vinglish. Nita danced like a pro, doing an intricate set of steps, which, nonetheless, flowed easily. The choice of the song too was apt. After all, the Gauri Shinde film song, is actually inspired from a popular Marathi wedding song that talks of the mesmerising aura of a new bride.
The second song, to which mother and daughter danced, was Nachde Ne Saare from the Katrina Kaif, Siddharth starrer Baar Baar Dekho. It’s here that we notice how mother Nita got her steps spot on, while daughter Isha tries to match her steps, smiling all along.
Isha Ambani recently got engaged to long time friend Anand Piramal, son of Ajay and Swati Piramal of India’s leading industrial houses, the Piramal group. Anand is the founder of Piramal Realty and prior to that he had founded Piramal Swasthaya, a rural healthcare initiative. He is also an executive director of the Piramal group. Isha is on the boards of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail.
The two are expected to get married in December this year. Isha is the twin sister of Akash who was recently engaged to Shloka Mehta. Both the couple will tie the knot in December.
