The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E highlights the electric SUV in a bold Firestorm Orange colour. The special edition electric SUV gets circular LED projector headlamps, giving the front face a new look. It gets an aero wing to reduce drag and a lip spoiler on the bootlid to break the air flow.

To differentiate this special edition from the standard version, Mahindra has revised both front and rear bumpers. The SUV’s bodywork also features edition-specific decals.

Coming to the rear, this premium electric SUV comes with a cleaner LED lightbar instead of the previous C-shaped layout. Inside, it has been specced-out with a host of carbon fibre elements on door trim and other places. The cabin also features exclusive Formula E badging inside.

Not only that, the 2025 BE 6 special edition brings a new aero wheel design, inspired by the 2023 Rall-E concept.

2025 Mahindra BE 6 Special Edition: Powertrains

As far as the powertrains are concerned, the new limited-run version of the Mahindra BE 6 retains the 79 kWh battery pack. This allows for a certified single-charge range of 682 km (MIDC, P1+P2 combined).

Fast-charging support of up to 175 kW is standard across all trims, and the SUV can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in under 20 minutes using a compatible DC fast charger. This range puts the BE 6 ahead of some of its key rivals in the segment.

Along with this, it continues to get a rear-wheel drive setup just like the standard version. It is worth mentioning that the Mahindra XEV 9S has a dual-motor layout, which allows for an all-wheel-drive system.

The BE 6 special edition employs twin 12.3-inch displays, including a curved infotainment touchscreen and a digital driver’s display, powered by Mahindra’s AdrenoX AI interface.

This system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, and voice-activated controls for everything from navigation to climate controls.

Other amenities include a Harman Kardon audio system, complemented by dual-zone AC and ventilated front seats with 6-way power adjustment for the driver.

2025 Mahindra BE 6 Special Edition: Rivals

Given the segment of the limited-run version of the 2025 BE 6, it continues to rival the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and MG Windsor EV, among others.
