Ola launches Prime Plus in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune; service now available in 4 cities

The facility was already operational in Bengaluru, where the company is headquartered.

Ola has launched its Prime Plus service in three more cities, taking the total number of cities where the service is available to four. While Prime Plus was already operational in Bengaluru – where the company has its headquarters – it can now be availed in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune as well.

In these three cities, Prime Plus is being tested with select customers, and a full-scale rollout will follow, according to CEO and co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal.

"Expanding our @Olacabs Prime Plus service today to Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad. Excited to have more people experience it! Our Bengaluru Prime Plus trial has been hugely successful.

Will open to select customers today and full scale rollout soon after," Aggarwal wrote on Friday in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

What is Ola Prime Plus?

With this ‘premium’ facility, Ola says it aims to provide an ‘enhanced and hassle-free experience’ to passengers. To this end, Prime Plus has several impressive features, including ‘zero cancellations’; i.e., a ride once booked cannot be cancelled by the driver.

The service was announced on May 28; the same day, it went live for select passengers in Bengaluru. Starting July 10, it became available for all customers in the metropolis.
