What are the changes to the Triumph Viper 400?

While the underpinnings are of the Speed 400, the Viper 400 does come with a lot of visual changes. If you know the history of Triumph motorcycles, then you would immediately be able to recognise the throwback to the Speed Triple 955i and 1050. The iconic dual circular headlamps in the front and even the green colour directly come from the older Triumphs. There is also a different exhaust as well as a different handlebar.

The cowl above the headlamp is different, and the fender looks shorter as well. There are spoked rims, an engine cowl finished in the same green colour scheme, but the side panel stays the same. The fuel tank is also the same unit, but it is now finished in green and black, along with a small tank shroud to give a more muscular look to the motorcycle. The company has changed the seat, which looks inspired by the cafe racers. It has a quilted design and looks a lot more premium than the current unit. Having said that, it does have less space than the current motorcycle, and there is also a new rear section that looks inspired by the Trident 660.
