Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal recalled the services rendered by these personalities which included freedom fighters.
The House also kept a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls.
The personalities included 17 freedom fighters, one Punjabi folk singer, one former MP, one former minister and five former MLAs.
Among those who were remembered by the House are former MP Chiranji Lal Sharma, former minister Santokh Singh Randhawa and former MLAs Kanwarjit Singh Brar and Jodh Singh.
