The body of Gauri Khedekar was found on Thursday with severe injury marks and stuffed inside a suitcase in Bengaluru.
As per the publication, Khedekar confessed that after stabbing his wife, Gouri Anil Sambrekar (32), he remained beside her body throughout the night, questioning her about their fights, her resentment over their move to Bengaluru, and her struggle to find a job.
Originally from Maharashtra, Khedekar had shifted to Bengaluru a month ago for a work-from-home job. Gouri had quit her job before relocating with him and was struggling to find suitable employment in the city.
According to Khedekar’s confession, his wife blamed him for her joblessness and wanted to return to Maharashtra, leading to frequent arguments, the TOI report added.
