CET results to be declared soon: Khattar

: Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said that results of the common eligibility test (CET) for the recruitment of Group C posts will be declared soon.
The government will recruit about 40,000 Group C employees once the CET results are declared, he said.
A CET exam will also be conducted soon for determining the eligibility for the recruitment of Group D employees and subsequently 17,000 to 20,000 Group-D employees will be recruited, Khattar said.
The validity of CET outcome is valid for three years. Although the CET exam is conducted every year, a candidate who wants to improve his score can re-appear.
The CM announced that from now on, sarpanches and chairpersons of panchayat samitis and zila parishads can accord administrative approval for the development works up to ₹ 2 lakh at their level only. No tenders will be floated for such works, he said.
Khattar said that in the last eight years, 50,000 micro small and medium enterprise have been set up in Haryana. More than 33 lakh people got employment opportunities through the private sector and self-employment opportunities.
“Loans have been provided to 16.85 lakh youths under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and 38,000 youths have got self-employment opportunities under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Similarly, more than 12.64 lakh youth have got employment in several industrial units,” he said.
