MUMBAI: A 51-year-old man died on Sunday after his bike skidded near the Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi. The deceased, 51-year-old Worli resident Rajesh Sonawane, was on his way to buy groceries when the incident occurred around 10 am on Sunday; he was rushed to Shushrusha Hospital in Dadar where he was declared dead, police said.

“A post-mortem was conducted at KEM Hospital after which his body was handed to the family,” an officer said, requesting anonymity. “We have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in the matter and are checking if some other vehicle was involved in the incident.”
