Maharashtra’s 48 constituencies will vote to elect members to the Lok Sabha in four phases on April 11,18, 23 and 29.
Mumbai North West constituency has been earlier represented by filmstar-turned-politician Sunil Dutt and his daughter Priya Dutt.
Gurdas Kamat of the Congress won the seat in 2009 but lost to Shiv Sena in 2014 when the constituency saw a 12% vote swing in favour of the Shiv Sena. Nearly 11,000 votes were polled in favour of NOTA.
