Lok Sabha elections 2019: Will Shiv Sena maintain hold over Mumbai North West in Maharashtra?

Maharashtra’s 48 constituencies will vote to elect members to the Lok Sabha in four phases on April 11,18, 23 and 29.

Mumbai North West constituency has been earlier represented by filmstar-turned-politician Sunil Dutt and his daughter Priya Dutt.

Gurdas Kamat of the Congress won the seat in 2009 but lost to Shiv Sena in 2014 when the constituency saw a 12% vote swing in favour of the Shiv Sena. Nearly 11,000 votes were polled in favour of NOTA.
