Brett Lee’s Dangal: watch former Australian pacer take on Indian wrestlers

Brett Lee recently entered in a wrestling ring in Mysuru to take on a trained wrestler, and posted a picture of himself doing the same on Twitter.

Brett Lee considers India his second home, and the blonde fast bowler who wreaked havoc with his pace and accuracy during his playing days has now taken up a new activity: fighting Indian wrestlers.

Brett Lee made posts on his Twitter and Instagram which show him approaching the ring by bowing down to touch the ground before entering. Sporting a blue tee shirt and grey shorts, Lee can be seen in action in the photograph that he shared.

The former right-arm fast bowler is currently commentating in the ongoing Karnataka Premier League (KPL), and the League’s official Twitter account shared a short video of Lee warming up and then engaging in combat with a trained wrestler.

Lee can be seen winning the bout as he managed to get the better of his competitor, in the dual which took place in the South Indian city of Mysuru.

He also posted a video with fellow commentator Dean Jones standing in front of a few elephants, and also a picture of his meeting with Mysuru queen Pramoda Devi. He even played piano for the queen.

Brett Lee’s strong connection to India has alsoled to him making appearances on the big screen. He was last seen in the film ‘UnIndian’, where he was paired opposite Tannishtha Chatterjee.
