Harmanpreet Singh will lead the Indian women’s cricket team in the five-match T20 international series against South Africa. The T20s start after the ODI series.
The squad for the T20 series was named by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday. Smriti Mandhana will be the vice-captain of the team.
India squad: Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Smriti Mandhana (vice-captain), Mithali Raj, Veda Krishnamurthy, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Anuja Patil, Taniya Bhatia (wicket-keeper), Nuzhat Parveen (wicket-keeper), Poonam Yadav, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Jhulan Goswami, Shikha Pandey, Pooja Vastrakar, Radha Yadav.
