IND vs SL Live Score, 2nd Test: Sri Lanka pacer Asitha Fernando admitted the hosts are firmly behind in the contest after losing two early wickets, but remained hopeful that their batters can dig in and survive the pressure on the third day.

"We are behind (in) the game now," Sri Lanka paceman Asitha Fernando said after the day's play.

"Hopefully our batters will come out tomorrow and bat out the full day," he added.
