India A left-arm Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav has replaced veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra for the one-off Test against Bangladesh starting in Hyderabad from February 9. The 22-year-old from Kanpur is yet to play a Test match.

Kuldeep Yadav is an impressive spinner and a five-wicket haul against England A in Mumbai on January 10 caught the eyes of the national selectors.

In the two-day practice match between India A and Bangladesh at the Gymkhana ground in Hyderabad on February 5 and 6, Kuldeep Yadav took 1 for 32 and two wickets for two runs. The match ended in a draw.

Amit Mishra was ruled out of India vs Bangladesh Test after he sustained a knee injury while fielding in the Bengaluru T20I match against England.

Mishra has been advised rest and will undergo further medical examination.
