India clinched the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka 2-1 after winning the third ODI by eight wickets at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. First, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets each to restrict Sri Lanka to 215. Then Shikhar Dhawan scored his 12th century while Shreyas Iyer hits his second half-century as the hosts reached the target in 32.1 overs. This was India’s eighth straight ODI series win. India have also not lost any ODI bilateral ODI series this year. The hosts were playing without their talsmanic captain Virat KOhli in the series against Sri Lanka.
