Adds that it was not the performance they were looking for and believes that they need to bat better. Opines that in these conditions, where the pitch usually deteriorates going into Days 4 and 5, you need to post a big first innings total. Shares that he does not regret batting first, as there was always going to be some help for the pacers early on due to the moisture, but as batters, they need to see off that phase. Reckons that they did not make the batters play enough with the second new ball. Overall, he believes that batting is the main problem, and they must string partnerships.
