During the recent ICC Champions Trophy in UK, Kohli often sought Dhoni’s tips and during the semifinal against Bangladesh in Birmingham, the decision to introduce part-time off-spinner Kedar Jadhav into the attack turned out to be a masterstroke.

Dhoni has enjoyed his time in the Indian dressing room and although his batting has been below par, Kohli is in no hurry to replace India’s most successful captain in a hurry.
