6:05 PM IST RCB smash their way to record total - Earlier in the game, Royal Challengers Bengaluru powered their way to the highest total of IPL 2026. The openers got starts but couldn’t convert, before Padikkal kickstarted the carnage with a quickfire 50 off 29. Patidar and David then took it to another level, smashing an unbeaten 99-run stand with 14 sixes between them. Patidar blasted 48 off 19, while David starred with a breathtaking 70 off 25. Kamboj, Dube and Overton picked up wickets, but only Khaleel kept things somewhat in check. The damage could have been less if not for Kamboj's No-Ball that denied David's wicket.
