"I think I can still improve runs wise. If I can score a couple of more fifties before I leave that would be much helpful. We have the depth in batting, so as a team we want to utilize all the players because we know that after me there are a couple of more guys who can strike the ball, so we (as batters) are not bothered by the runs we get but the strike rate is important," says Bhanuka Rajapaksa.

We have got some power-hitters in both camps. A high-scoring game on the cards? The average score batting first at the Brabourne has been 177 but a winning total has been in the 190s.

"Two good sides, important game for both and I am sure both are raring to go. It is going to be a good contest. Before the season me and my coach worked out what's going to be required this season, to do something different because we could have gotten a little predictable," says Karthik.

"It is important you keep contributing to the team, have a bigger goal in mind and that's what I have been doing. I have a vision in my mind which I want to achieve and I'm trying my best to achieve that and in the process do whatever I can in whichever game I play."

One change for Punjab as Harpreet Brar comes in for Sandeep Sharma. "Left-arm spinner against them is a good matchup, so that's why we have made the change. We have been playing good cricket but it's been a bit on and off. Need to do that as a team," says Mayank Agarwal.

"We'll have a bowl. The trends in the competition suggests that the wickets are getting better, toss isn't making much of a difference. One side is a bit short, so that's a factor. Same team. We played some good all-round cricket in the last few games, hopefully everyone can play their role perfectly today as well," says Faf du Plessis.
