Go Indian - that was the mantra for the overwhelming majority of the 59 ministers sworn in Thursday.

They were in kurta-pyjamas, dhotis, saris, salwar kurtas and Nehru jackets, but three of them decided to strike a different note.

Cabinet minister MS Gill wore a formal business suit in beige with a matching tie. Minister of state Vincent Pala followed suit in black with a red tie.

Minister of state D Napoleon went a little informal with a plain white shirt teamed with black trousers.
