MCD commissioner KS Mehra announced on Saturday the amended schedule and guidelines for public hearing which will take place at Civic Centre, headquarter of the civic agency.

“The commissioner has directed all the additional commissioners and head of the departments to organise public hearing on every Monday between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at their respective offices at the Civic Centre,” said Deep Mathur, director press and information, MCD.
According to the civic agency, an effort will be made to dispose off them off on the spot.
“Those which can’t be disposed on the spot will have to be disposed off within one week from its registration. The complainant will be informed about the action taken report by speed post or email,” said a senior MCD official. Mehra has further directed the officers that grievances and complaints regarding construction of roads, storm water drains and schools, which require funds should be processed as per the procedure.
