Commerce Minister Kamal Nath's mother passes away

Leela Nath was 83, and is survived by two daughters, Anita Puri and Rita Jolly, besides Kamal Nath.

Leela Nath, the mother of Commerce Minister Kamal Nath, died in a city hospital in New delhi on Thursday. She was 83, and is survived by two daughters, Anita Puri and Rita Jolly, besides Kamal Nath.

The commerce minister, who was in the US on an official visit when his ailing mother was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, cut short his assignment and returned to New Delhi.

He had lost his father Mahendra Nath earlier.
