"Now, fix the matter for order on the sentence on September 8," Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Sanjiv Jain said while adjourning the case.

The ASJ had, on August 25, dismissed the appeal of the teacher of Dileep Soloman of the Delhi School of Music.

Soloman had filed the petition against his conviction and a one-year jail term awarded to him by a court last year.

Soloman was awarded the jail term by Metropolitan Magistrate Geetanjali Goel, who had held him guilty under section 354 (outraging the modesty of a woman) and 509 (making indecent gestures to insult a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
