Dentist hangs self after tiff with husband
A 25-year-old dentist, who got married just eight months ago, allegedly committed suicide at her southeast Delhi residence in Greater Kailash part I on Wednesday morning.
A 25-year-old dentist, who got married just eight months ago, allegedly committed suicide at her southeast Delhi residence in Greater Kailash part I on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, Teena Gogna, a qualified dentist, killed herself after having a fight with her husband, Vivek. He deals in hair and beauty products.
“After the fight, Vivek went to talk to her in the early afternoon and found the door locked. When she didn’t open it, he broke the door to find her hanging from the ceiling fan,” said a senior police officer.
Police said the victim’s in-laws had claimed that she had been depressed for several months and took anti-depressants prescribed to her.
“Vivek said that they often argued and were doing the same on Wednesday morning,” the officer said.
Police said Vivek rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead on arrival.
