DTC’s ladies special buses operational on 10 routes

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has started 10 Ladies Special buses from Tuesday. Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely today said the buses have been introduced keeping in mind the security of women passengers in Delhi.

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has started 10 Ladies Special buses from Tuesday.

Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely today said the buses have been introduced keeping in mind the security of women passengers in Delhi.

“The buses will ply on an experimental basis,” he added..

The Ladies’ Special buses will ply on the following routes in the city: 212 (Nand Nagri Terminal to Anand Parbat), 937 (SultanPuri to Railway Station), 307 (Trilok Puri to Kamla Market), 211 (Mayur Vihar Phase-III to Mori Gate Terminal), 205 (New Seema Puri to Fateh Puri) and 712 (Mangla Puri to ISBT).

On route nos. 212, 937, 307 and 211, the buses will ply on both up and down routes.
