Gilani sends box of mangoes to Manmohan

Accepting India's offer of $5 million assistance towards flood relief, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Friday sent a box of mangoes to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as a goodwill gesture.

Accepting India's offer of $5 million assistance towards flood relief, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Friday sent a box of mangoes to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as a goodwill gesture.

"Yes, we did get the box of mangoes. It was with the best compliments from the people of Pakistan," a top official at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said when asked about the fruity gift from across the border.

According to officials, the box was delivered at the PMO by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
