Hot, humid day in store for Delhi

Delhiites will experience another hot and humid day Saturday as the day temperature will hover three notches above average at 43.2 degrees Celsius. The weatherman said rains are expected in the next few days.

Delhiites will experience another hot and humid day Saturday as the day temperature will hover three notches above average at 43.2 degrees Celsius. The weatherman said rains are expected in the next few days.

The minimum temprature was three degrees above average at 31.3 degrees.

"Saturday will be a hot day and the maximum temperature will be 43.2 degrees," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

He said the month of May will be hot and the temperature will be more than 40 degrees.

"Rains are expected in the next few days as the humidity has reached 35 percent."

"The temperature of this week was high. We are expecting that it will not cross 45 degrees next week," the official added.
