A day after heavy rains lashed the Capital, high humidity and mercury at above normal levels troubled Delhiites as monsoon showers took a break on Monday.

However, the weatherman predicted relief for citizens on Tuesday as there could be rainfall in many parts of the city, with temperature oscillating between 27 and 35 degree Celsius.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.9 degree Celsius, one degree above normal, and the minimum was 26.7 degrees.

The humidity oscillated between 59% and 90%. After witnessing muggy days, rains lashed the national Capital on Sunday, bringing down the mercury and making it a ‘cool’ Sunday for Delhiites. The gauges recorded 3 mm rain on Sunday.
