“How can we not touch on inflation and terrorism? It is affecting every level of residents. Delhi mein aaj na logon ki jaan surakshit hain na jeb surakshit hain (Today in Delhi neither a person’s life nor his wallet are safe),”

said Arun Jaitley, BJP national general secretary.

The BJP leader said Delhi is the Capital of the country so national issues will continue to impact the politics here.

“The common man in the city is not unaffected by the financial crisis. Economy is slowing down. Companies are laying off employees, which is adding to the unemployment. Prices of essential commodities have gone up. In such a scenario how can we turn a blind eye to these burning issues?” he questioned.

Jaitley was speaking at a press conference where the party’s CM candidate V.K. Malhotra and Delhi BJP president Dr Harsh Vardhan released a 10-point chargesheet against the Congress government.
