Lok Sabha remembers Tagore
The Lok Sabha today remembered Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of his 151st birth anniversary.

Lok Sabha on Tuesday remembered Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of his 151st birth anniversary.
Speaker Meira Kumar said Tagore was a versatile figure whose novels and poetry enthralled the freedom fighters.
"He was the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in literature in 1913 for his work 'Gitanjali'. On this occasion, the House fondly remembers this great son of India and poet-par-excellence," she said.
