With instances of members storming the well with placards on the rise, the Lok Sabha Secretariat has reminded them that display of exhibits on the floor of the House was not in order.
Besides, it has told the members that decorum and the seriousness of the proceedings of the House require that no member should shout slogans of any kind or sit on dharna in the pit of the House or stand up on the seat.
In a set of Parliamentary customs, conventions and etiquette circulated to members, the Secretariat said the ruling given by the Chair should not be criticised directly or indirectly inside or outside the House.
The members have also been told that they should keep to their usual seat while addressing the House and they should not sit or stand with their back towards the Chair.
The reminder has come close on the heels of protest on the Babhli barrage issue during which TDP MPs as also those of the Shiv Sena stormed the well with placards.
Members have also been told that they should occupy their seats as soon as the Speaker rises to speak or calls out "Order" and also when any other member is in the possession of the floor - speaking with the permission of the Chair.
The first week of the Monsoon Session was rocked by protests on the price rise issue with the Opposition members stalling the House for the whole week.
