Maruti plant at Manesar rolls out 350 cars
For the first time after striking workers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) vacated the Manesar plant of Maruti Suzuki, cars started to roll out of the company's plant in Manesar on Tuesday.
After the striking Maruti workers vacated the Manesar plant of Maruti Suzuki on Friday last, the company on Tuesday produced 350 cars. The Gurgaon plant of MSIL too had resumed production on Monday and had rolled out 1,700 cars. On Tuesday also it produced 1,750 cars.

On Monday, the weld shop and the press shop were made operational at the Manesar plant. The company also started the assembling process.
Manesar plant started with 180 workers who were not a part of the strike.
Earlier in the day, MSI admitted that the company needs to learn how to deal with a young workforce as it grapples with frequent labour issues at its Manesar plant. According to the company officials, partial operations resumed at Suzuki Powertrain India Limited, (SPIL) also, the supplier for diesel engines and transmissions.
The company in a total produced 480 Swift cars in Gurgaon as well as in Manesar plants on Tuesday. They said that over 1 lakh customers have placed orders for Swift and are waiting for delivery.
On the other hand the proposed talks between the management and striking workers could not take place on Tuesday, as the latter refused to participate in the meeting.
