Social networking sites seem to be the mantra of the day for students these days. They are busy updating their status messages highlighting the admissions issues and the pain and happiness that comes with it.

Shweta Samaria recently posted, "Finally got admission in IIMC (sic). Classes starting from July 26."

Soon after she posted this message, her Facebook page was flooded with congratulations and wishes.

Another student, Abhishek Garg, tweeted "words can't express my happiness, my dream of getting admission in Stephens is a reality now(sic)."

Students are also sharing their ideas of dream college online. With the post like 'Show me the way to college like the ones in movies', Shruti Sinha was showered with praises.
