The low-flying objects include para-glider, para-sail, para-motor, remote-operated light aircraft, aeromodel, microlight aircraft, hang-glider and hot air balloons, a senior police official said.

During the Commonwealth Games, the official said criminal, anti-social or terrorist elements may pose a threat to the safety of athletes, delegates, officials and others by using flying objects prompting the police to issue such a notification.

"Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under the Indian Penal Code. People are appealed not to use flying objects in Delhi and NCR region during the Commonwealth Games and inform the Police Control Room or Police Help Line 1090 if they notice any such object in the air," he said.
