NRHM workers to go on strike

The Delhi State National Rural Health Mission (NHRM) and RCH Contractual Employees Union on Saturday said their strike will continue indefinitely if their demands of wages at par with those of contractual employees of Delhi health services and municipal corporations is not ensured.

The strike had begun from March 21. Union president Bhawna said, “The government had assured that a committee will be formed to look into our demands but we were cheated. The police lathicharged us.”

The lathicharge took place at the office of the health director in Civil Lines.
