Special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam submitted a list of 27 absconding accused along with their addresses to the trial court and sought issue of warrants against them.

The judge ML Tahaliyani asked the prosecutor how police proposed to execute the warrants if they were issued by the court.

Prosecutor Nikam replied that the authorities would execute the warrants through the interpol.

"The addresses of absconding accused have been provided to the investigating agency by the Government of India," he told PTI.

Earlier, the court had not issued warrants because it asked the prosecution to provide complete addresses of the accused, believed to be in Pakistan.

Of the 35 absconding accused, prosecution got addresses of only 27 and hence they have asked for warrants only against them.
