Upset over alleged police "inaction", residents staged a protest and blocked the Outer Ring Road in Naraina, west Delhi on Friday morning. Students also held protests in various colleges demanding the arrest of the culprit.
A man, who is believed to have been stalking her for sometime, killed Radhika Tanwar, a second-year degree student, outside her college in Dhaula Kuan's Shantiniketan area on March 8.
The broad daylight murder, ironically coming on the international women's day, has raised questions over law and order situation in the capital. BJP's student wing ABVP has called for a strike in Delhi University on Friday to protest the incident and demand more security for students.
