'Regularise water connections by June 30'

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has warned of stringent action against all those who fail to get their unauthorised water/ sewage connections regularised before June 30.

The water utility has extended the amnesty scheme for regularisation of unauthorised water connections of a certain category. "The users of unauthorised water connections should avail benefit of the scheme by making payment of necessary charges and penalty as applicable by June 30," DJB said in a release.

The DJB has also extended the rebate scheme for interest component 60% and 70%, res-pectively, also up to June 30.
