"Anything which is unauthorised shall be sealed otherwise you will face consequences," a Bench of Justices Arijit Pasayat and DK Jain firmly told the centre.

The Bench made the assertion after Additional Solicitor General Vikas Singh and MCD counsel Sanjiv Sen moved fresh applications seeking a halt of the sealing drive.

The two counsel claimed that over 40 lakh people would be on the roads if the sealing ordered by the apex court's monitoring committee was not halted.

However, the apex court said it would examine the applications on Monday when the issue would come up for hearing.
