Temp touches 42.6°C, evening storm brings it down

After experiencing a hot day, the Capital got some relief in the form of dust storm which made the evening pleasant on Thursday.

After experiencing a hot day, the Capital got some relief in the form of dust storm which made
the evening pleasant on Thursday.

The maximum temperature, however, remained three degrees above normal at 42.6 degree Celsius but due to dust storm, the mercury came down by a couple of degree.

In Mukherjee Nagar, three people were injured when a hoarding fell down on them due to the dust storm.

“There could be light showers in a day or two. Friday will be a more comfortable as the dust storm will continue,” said BP Yadav, director (forecast), IMD.
