Kamal Kumar was shot at by two unidentified motorcycle-borne men near Surajmal flyover in Vivek Vihar locality around 9:45 am, a senior police officer said.

Kumar, a resident of Raghunath Colony of Ghaziabad, is a Class IV employee in Central Pollution Control Board and was on his way to office when the incident took place, the officer said.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition is stated to be stable. He suffered minor injuries on his hand.

Police suspect his sister-in-law's brother to be behind the incident. "Personal rivalry could be the reason. We have some inputs and are working on it," the officer added.
