Here’s your chance to participate in the Indo-Norwegian fictional writing contest

An Indo-Norwegian fictional writing competition called In Your Shoes gives an opportunity to people across India and Norway to pen down their thoughts about a life in another place.

An Indo-Norwegian fictional writing competition called In Your Shoes gives an opportunity to people across India and Norway to pen down their thoughts about a life in another place.

Participants can be from any age group and the entries should be in English or Hindi. The word limit is 2000 and the deadline is June 18, 2012. Entries should be sent to indonorway@gmail.com.

The texts will also be used in relation to a research project at the University of Oslo. The winner will get a trip to Norway.

In Your Shoes is organised by the University of Oslo, Bokvennen Literary Magazine and Pratilipi Bilingual Literary Journal. Presenting partners include Norwegian Translation Association in Norway and the Sahitya Academy. For more information visit www.indianorway.wordpress.com
