“My preparation for the Mains exam had been thorough. I am certain that I will rank under 8,000,” Yashi Agarwal, another student, said.
Raveen Pande, principal of the school, said some of the students struggled to complete JEE Main 2018 paper on time.
“The difficulty level of the exam was a bit high than the previous years’ just like any other competition,” Siddhant Srivastava, a student, said.
Students will be ranked on the basis of their JEE Mains 2018 score and there will be no weightage for Class 12 marks, unlike last year.
The All-India Rank is used for admissions to National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI), Self-Financed Institutes (SFIs), and other institutes.
“This it is not easy to secure a rank among them but I’m confident of my performance,” Aniket Bisen said.
