“Around 1.5 million applications were received for the recruitment and 1.2 million candidates sat for the test,” said inspector general of police (recruitment) Prashakha Mathur.
The answer key for the written examination was released on July 20.

2) Click on the link for ‘Recruitment & Results’, and then on results
3) Enter the required details
4) Click on submit
5) Result will be displayed on the screen
6) Download and take a printout of the same.
However, candidates are warned that a little persistence may be required as increased traffic has slowed down the website.
